About Press Start
Brought to you by Teachers Life and nowly Insurance, Press Start is a program that supports Canadian youth in driving positive social change. It offers two key initiatives: the annual Press Start CoLab Program which runs through the summer months and the Press Start CoLab High School Program, piloting this fall in partnership with OTIP.
Both initiatives are innovation accelerators for emerging youth social entrepreneurs focused on addressing Canada’s Mental Health Crisis. Participants receive mentorship, resources, and the chance to access grant support for their projects.
The Press Start CoLab Program
The Press Start CoLab Program is an innovation accelerator that supports the next generation of changemakers. Throughout the 10-week program, 50 social entrepreneurs, ages 18-29, from across the nation work collaboratively to create a minimal viable solution to the Mental Health Crisis in Canada.
The Press Start CoLab High School Program
Brought to you by Teachers Life and OTIP, the Press Start CoLab High School Program is a 7-week innovation accelerator that supports high school students and the education community from across Ontario to create a minimal viable solution, focused on the mental health of Canadian youth.
